The Yin-yang Not So Twins
I’ve heard people wish for a twin just to see how different their lives would be. For me, there’s no imagination because I feel like I already have a twin. My sister and I are 16 months apart, but at first glance we look like clones of each other. Of course genetics are a thing, so siblings usually share features, but the older we get the more we look alike.

We walk into each other’s jobs to visit and our coworkers are immediately thrown off. If we’re out together, we’re asked if we’re twins at least once and sometimes have to debate on why we aren’t. Growing up, it could get annoying because we didn’t see the resemblance. Now we take selfies and scare ourselves looking through them.

Although, we look like the same person, we’re very different from each other; the good different. The flattering kind of different that makes a good team. She has a laid back demeanor and I’m more socially forward. I prefer vivid colors and she loves nudes. Most importantly, I’m addicted to all things hair and she’s obsessed with makeup. For my astrology people, she's a Capricorn and I'm a Virgo. Not that our worlds don't intersect, but a lot of our skills are pretty much mutually exclusive. I do my sister’s hair because she doesn’t know how to do her hair and she does my makeup because… well you know where I’m going with this.
Everyone needs balance in there life and she’s always been mine.
