               a native of Petersburg, Virginia, grew up immersed in the entertainment and media industry. At 13, Williams joined a photography team contracted with Radio One, as an assistant photographer with Radio One's StoneSoul and Transformation Expo events. Nyasia graduated high school in 2015 with a Commonwealth of Virginia license in cosmetology and entered Virginia Commonwealth University that fall. Majoring in Public Relations at VCU, Nyasia joined the staff of The Commonwealth Times and volunteered as a fashion blogger for Valentine Museum’s Costumes and Textiles Department. In 2019, Nyasia chose to explore to depts of the HBCU experience and transferred her studies to Virginia State University, where she graduated in May 2020. During her first semester, Nyasia relocated to New York City, where she worked on Maybelline and Láncome accounts as a Public Relations assistant at BPCM. In response to the reality of COVID-19, Nyasia hosted a virtual personal wellness education series to aid the needs of youth in Virginia, which led her to carry her talents to the school system. In 2021, Nyasia began coordinating special events, programs/incentives and educating at a local middle school, partnering with local business owners and nationally renowned organizations like The Black Hair Experience. Currently, Nyasia is the proud founder of Cosmoversial and owner of Styles By Milan where she is cultivating her skills as a traveling stylist and accepting new opportunities to contribute to the betterment of humanity. Her passions for beauty, traveling and public relations will allow her to create enrichment experiences for underserved communities by connecting them to self-care resources worldwide.
